Salvimar Speeder Fin

A spearfishing or freediving fin consisting of a foot pocket with an integrated sole and a removable blade. Ergonomic rubber foot pocket with differentiated thickness, excellent comfort. Rigid PP sole integrated during the molding phase. Polypropylene side clips molded onto the stringer. The blade is molded from polypropylene with differentiated thickness: 3.5mm thick at the rear, 1.8mm thick at the tip. Stringers under the footbed. The Speeder fin is the result of careful research into movement dynamics. During the development phase, in addition to paying particular attention to the characteristics of the two components that make up a fin, the foot pocket and the blade, we implemented the interaction between them by perfecting the coupling system, effectively improving the overall functionality of the product. The spearfishing foot pocket is the element that connects the diver to the blade and through it, all the power is transferred to the blade to transform it into movement. For the maximum efficiency of the Speeder fin, we moved the side stringers under the sole of the foot: this greatly improved comfort and at the same time increased thrust with the same effort. The stringers also feature internally molded side clips that ensure excellent mechanical adhesion to the blade, avoiding steps and hydrodynamic turbulence. We also gave the foot pocket a special shape with variable thicknesses to achieve remarkable mechanical resistance of the material combined with lightness and rigidity: we combined a soft upper with a rigid sole integrated during the molding phase, which ensures excellent energy transfer from the diver to the blade. The blade is molded from polypropylene: to ensure the best propulsive thrust and excellent elastic return while minimizing finning effort, the blade was made with differentiated thickness: while it is 3.5mm thick at the heel, the tip is 1.8mm thick.
