MANTRA carbon fiber blades key features:

1) Blade 100% IM7 carbon fiber.
2) The material is 100% PRE-PREG Carbon obtained with hot melt impregnation systems using tetra-functional resin.
3) 3D-Tech: Proprietary technology, exclusive know-how of CETMA COMPOSITES, using high pressure, high temperature and vacuum, which results in a component with 0% voids, free of defects, and with a constant fiber/resin ratio throughout the blade.
4) FEM Design: The design of MANTRA is optimized through careful finite element analysis (FEM). The software used ensures an optimal distribution of stiffnesses in order to reproduce a blade deformation that guarantees maximum hydrodynamic efficiency.

6) DRS (Dynamic Resonance System) new innovative system exclusive to CETMA COMPOSITES. This system implies that the MANTRA blade has been designed to resonate within a specific finning frequency range. Resonance is a well-known physical phenomenon that characterizes any structure. Simply put, when a structure is forced at a frequency close to its natural frequency, the amplitude of vibrations increases very efficiently (low damping). Through engineering design, the stiffness and mass of the blade have been distributed in such a way as to "tune" the blade within a certain range of natural frequencies close to those of the finning frequency, thus allowing the phenomenon of resonance. The final user feedback is therefore a very low effort corresponding to incredible propulsion. This study was conducted using a laser vibrometer (LDV) to perform a modal analysis, which was used to establish the mass and stiffness distribution of the blade.
