The METAL rifle takes its name from the new grip, called metal, a rifle with a traditional frame in reinforced aircraft aluminum alloy with an integral forend guide.

But the real innovation lies in the grip, where the construction quality takes a huge step forward thanks to MIM technology, metal injection molding, which translates into making even the smallest steel components, such as the release system elements and the trigger, no longer through mechanical processing, but through an injection system in molds that allow for extremely high levels of precision.

To further optimize the release system, a micro-wheel has been added (on the release pawl) to the contacting elements of the mechanism, the trigger release lever and the release cog. This allows for the conversion of sliding friction into rolling friction, almost completely eliminating the rubbing of the metal surfaces. This significantly reduces friction and allows for greater lightness and sensitivity on the trigger, with less force required when firing.

The functional test highlighted that the effort required on the trigger to fire the shot, considering a load of 100 kg, i.e. as if the rifle were loaded with a double 16 mm round, with the Metal grip is equal to 600 g, compared to over 1 kg with a traditional grip.

A further and not negligible advantage of the reduction of friction is the non-wear of the parts that come into play in the trigger mechanism.
