SALVIMAR HERO 65/85/95/105/115/125/135 SPEARGUN

The Hero Storm is the brother of the Hero rifle, the difference is the blue camouflage mount with the sublimation technique, just like the Hero. The main goal of the project was to create a speargun with characteristics similar to a wooden speargun, but with significantly lighter and more robust materials. To this end, a speargun was created with an elliptical barrel made of 7075 aluminum, also used in the aeronautical field, which gives it more air mass, making it neutral or nearly so when fully loaded. Ribs were also inserted inside the carriage, resulting in a more rigid structure and consequently reducing recoil when fired. A full Teflon shaft guide was created in the upper part of the carriage, reducing shaft friction and making it highly accurate. Furthermore, a muzzle and a grip with an elliptical joint were created, made watertight by sealing gaskets, both secured by a lateral stainless steel pin. Each speargun is tested at Salvimar with special equipment at 8 ATM to prevent any water infiltration into the barrel.

The mount is camouflaged in blue using the sublimation technique and treated to make it highly resistant to scratches and accidental impacts. On the back, near the handle, there are two holes used to attach the supplied reel.
At the end of the barrel, the handle is mounted with the same interlocking system as the head.

The muzzle is made from a single glass-filled nylon mold. The front features a generously sized slot for inserting circular rubber bands (two 16mm ones are supplied). The upper part, where the shaft rests, is open like wooden rifles, but there is the possibility, depending on the specifications. Personal need, to insert a bridge. At the bottom, it has a slot where the line coming from the reel passes and is secured. The end, the one that enters the barrel, is elliptical in shape and features a double gasket to ensure a perfectly watertight connection with the barrel.

The Hero's grip, like the muzzle, is made of glass-filled nylon and has been completely redesigned. The anatomical rubber section (green) is removable for an ergonomic grip that can be used by both right- and left-handed users (supplied as standard). To facilitate loading, the sternal rest is minimal and slightly curved downwards, so as not to affect the line of sight.
The coupling end towards the barrel is elliptical and is provided with a double gasket to make the coupling with the tapered tube perfectly watertight.

The Hero STORM rifle and its parts and components are made entirely in Italy.
